Check this new website about Korat! www.koratmap.com
Stop whinning. Exactly, you live here for 10 years and never had problems without it before. So, why is it so important? I don\'t get it.
1) This is in Korat, Amphur Muang. Korat is large, many amphurs. I don\'t know where you live and if you own the land with a Thai partner or not. Once sure thing, the owner of the land must sign and consent.
2) About being married: this is not the law. The law has a link on Thailawonline and the law does NOT specify about marriage. We translated the regulation in English. I think it is NOT available anywhere else.
3) I have dozens of unmarried clients with a Ta Bian Ban. So, it\'s possible. They go at the amphur. They ask the requirements. They normally get a list. They do it by themselves.
4) Welcome to Thailand. You might be able to do it. You have to discuss, negotiate, find a way out.MAYBE getting some \"health benefits\", if not, I still believe a ta bian ban is not very useful. We can disagree but I won\'t fight an amphur because you can\'t get one.Use your driving license for address document, or a certificate of residence from immigration, or a work permit, or a letter from a police station, but if you can\'t get one, you don\'t need to complaint. Some use a lease agreement, a bill for water or phone to show an address etc. Only few here have a ta bian ban. I don\'t and I don\'t care. And IF some health insurance is possible because of it, IF, then, I don\'t know ANY foreigners in Korat or elsewhere that is using it. I posted about it here, I didn\'t get any answer. I would not be eligible to that because I got social security anyway.
