Great TV series

What are the TV series that you like to watch?
I used to love the \"Sopranos\", \"24 hours\", \"Prison break\". But some friends showed me stuff like \"Ross Kemp on Gangs\" or Gordon Ramsay and really loved that stuff. I don\'t spend too much time in front of a TV screen but like good movies and to watch some series.
Yesterday, a friend made me discover \"
Undercover Boss
\". There are \"Undercover boss Australia\", \"Undercover boss UK\", etc. I watched few episodes last night (I am on holiday now) and I really loved it.
It\'s the story of some bosses of BIG companies going undercover for a week or two, and working at the lowest levels of their companies. They learned how employees work, what they think of the company, the problems, etc. You have beautiful human stories and it\'s really touching.
Try that.
If you like documentaries, try \"
Dear Zachary, a letter to a son about his father.
\"
Very touching. There is always something unexpected happening and it\'s a true story.

If you like reality shows, try:
Ross Kemp on Gangs
: Ross Kemp goes to many countries and try to get inside some of the most dangerous gangs in the world. Really good.
Banged up abroad
: Reconstitution of people that got caught in foreign countries for drugs or other crimes. Not ideal situations! I think there was a serie also called \"Locked Up Abroad\"
Big trouble in tourist Thailand
: Because we live here or are interested about Thailand.
Louis Theroux
: This guy goes everywhere to make some investigations. About UFO, preachers, dating services, everything you can or can not imagine. The one about marrying Thai ladies is hilarious.

Boardwalk Empire: A friend of mine told me about it and I didn\'t know much. But when I saw that Martin Scorcese was involved with in this serie, i knew I would love it. Steve Buscemi is so good.... It\'s the story of Atlantic city (and a little bit Chicago) during the prohibition is USA. Mafia, politicians, prostitution, etc. Imagine the Sopranos in 1920...

\"The Big C\" with Laura Linney is good. The first season just ended here in Thailand on The Diva Channel. \"The Closer\" is also a good show and for those who like music and comedy, \"Glee\" season II is playing here currently in Thailand. AXN is also showing both the old \"Hawaii 5-O\" during the day and once a week the new \"Hawaii 5-O\". Since I am from Hawaii it is enjoyable to watch both series for nostalgia and the beautiful scenery of home.

I saw a very good documentary called \"Exit Through the Gift Shop\"
I did Nnot know it was on nomination at the oscars before I started. It happened to be on netflix and have good rates, I like documentaries and just clicked. I watched 30 minutes and stopped last week (it was very late) and then, I saw it was a BIG THING at the oscars. I finished the last part this week and really enjoyed it.
It\'s about STREET ART. They filmed tons of artists for years, painting everywhere. And it\'s about a famous guy called BANKSY. If you like art and documentaries, that is quite good.
Here\'s about Banksy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banksy
I saw another one called FOOD INC. About how food is produced these days in our society. Quite good too.

\"The next three days\" is not an intellectual movie but a nice suspense, crime and action movie.
If you like Gordon Ramsay, check \"best restaurant. It\'s a new program trying to find the best restaurant in UK. Each week, they have some challenges. Pretty good.

I saw a good documentary yesterday. I like documentaries and watch them on Netflix these days.
It had 4 stars and I didn\'t know what it was: THE COVE.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1313104/
It\'s about fishing and killing dolphins in Japan. Quite interesting, with some activists.
Not the best documentary I have seen, but it did won an oscar last year for the best documentary!! I saw that later, researching about the movie.
If you are into fish and like that one, there is also a Gordon Ramsay about Shark\'s fins. I think it was done last year. It is very similar.

I watched \"breaking bad\" recently and it was good. Especially the 2 first episode, and I like the third year.
The second season starts slow, but it worth it to continue.

What should i try next? B)

Ross Kemp : Extreme world.
That is pretty good. Ross Kemp goes in Chicago, into the heroine world of addicts. He really goes where no people normally go.
In Congo, he tries to understand who can people rape and do atrocities while at war. He also goes to Haiti, Mexico and UK to show you extremes from the world.
If you liked \"Ross Kemp on gangs\", it is similar.

californiacation

fringe
- from the guy who did Lost. sort of a present day x-files (with josh jackson. double yum!)
heros
(which is available on dvd in english with thai sub and thai dubbed with english sub - which has been nice for mr. mely as he gets tired of reading the american tv shows we watch)
hung
- about a male high school teacher / coach who turns to being a prostitute in order to make some extra money
dexter
- a serial killer who only kills \"bad guys\"
all very good.
weeds

Heres a quick list from me, hopefully you\'ll find a few interesting ones you might have missed. I can\'t stand Thai TV and I am always looking for new stuff to watch, so I would be interested to see other peoples choices.
breaking bad - really good I recently finished the last episode.
The wire - one of my all time favourites.
Game of thrones - Fantasy adventure a \'little\' bit like lord of the rings.
walking dead - just got into this, phil at the George recommended it and I am hooked.
Suits - quite light hearted legal drama.
The shield - corrupt police team had me really hooked.
Person of interest - quite good.
Homeland - pretty damn good actually, I think this one will develop into a solid series.
Prime suspect - 90\'s UK Police focusing on hunt for a serial killer, very gritty and widely commended no cars somersaulting whilst exploding here!!
Fitz - criminal psychologist helps police investigations I know there are a million and one of these shows on tv but this is either the original or one of the first and its very classy indeed!!! has Hargred from harry potter in it aka Robbie Coltrane =]

I have many series and thousands of movies. If people want to borrow...
- breaking bad
- californiacation
- Some years of dexter
- some years of weeds
-lost (i was sad when it ended ... i still rewatch it)The Wire: I couldn\'t get into the first year and abandon.
-Prime suspect -
-I think I have the full Gordon Ramsay.
I got much more. All sopranos. All 24. Probably a lot of CSI.
4 years of Boston Legal (I love that show).
I have sex in the city *for my wife
Ross Kemp of gangs.
Nice serie with Louis Theroux (that is pretty good)
And many French Canadian movies or TV...is some quebecers or French native speakers are interested.
I have old classic, classified in 2 drives by alphabetical order.
I would like
Fitz
, if we can exchange. I used to watch that many yours ago and liked it.
And I saw a REALLY NICE documentary on Cancer with Dr Burzynski.
http://www.burzynskimovie.com/
On Netflix, it had almost 5 stars. I didn\'t know what it was, I knew it was a documentary.
After seeing that, if only half is the reality, I am outrage by the FDA in USA and how this guy was treaty. It reminds me why some people are doing the \"occupancy\" these days.
Really good documentary:
burzynski.
Especially if you know people who died of cancer and in my family, there are a lot.
I am also watching a new show called
BURRIED TREASURE
. 2 guys from USA, twins, go to houses to find if they have real antiques and how much they worth. I like that show. There was one before in UK...Antiques Roadshow. Very similar. It just started this year.

Recently flew back to Canada and of course then back to land of Smiles and discovered a TV series on the Korean Air flights called \"V\" . I found it very interesting ... about \"V\"isitors coming from outer space and the world\'s reaction to their supposed peaceful and helpful attitude which of course is a guise. It was a great study in human nature. I think I saw about 12 or 13 episodes and never even heard about it prior to those flights. Worth a watch for anyone interested in that kind of thing.

Two friends of mine were talking about \"An idiot abroad\" last night. It\'s a kind of \"nerd\" who doesn\'t know about the world, doesn\'t like to be put outside his world...and now, he travels and experience everything.
Funny, especially for us, living abroad.
Now, it\'s season 2.
Here\'s a part about ladyboys and him traveling to Thailand.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1dJWdoMVqY
and another one. These are just small pieces of his trips....
