Famous Kuay Tiaow restaurant in Pitsanulok

       I went to a famous restaurant in Pitsanulok about 3 weeks ago. It is called Kuay Tiao Hoy Ka Rim Naam, which means something like "Noodle Soup Restaurant with hanging legs in front of river".

It is beside the most famous temple of Phitsanulok, and just in front of the river. People can sit with the legs hanging below, like on this picture (maybe not clear). The exact

You can see the river, but nothing impressive. But the food was some of the nicest noodle soup (beside maybe some in Chiangmai/Chiangrai) that I had before.

On the wall, you can see the pictures of all the Thai stars that went eating there. The place was actually full when we went, in middle of the day.

This is the typical Kuay Tiaow or Chinese noodle soup. What I have learn recently is that almost everywhere, you can ask the same, but with the soup beside. It is called KUAY TIAOW HENG. You can decide what kind of noodle you want, transparent, slim, etc. like any place. And often, you can decide of the broth too, like Tom Yam or others.

This is the same, more or less, but HENG. I think it is more tasty this way...but I let you decide by yourself. If you never tried it before, try the same, but HENG.

You must order yourself, on a paper. Not easy if you can't read Thai but if you can't, try to order verbally and they will help you.
