Tak Bhat Tae Wo
On the next day after the end of Buddhist lent day, it’s Tak Bhat Tae Wo. On that day, people people give not perishable food to the monks. As usual, woman can not touch the monks and people give the food in the “bhat” (kind of bowl of the monks). Money has to be put in the bags that monks are carrying, not in their bowls.
Food can be given by the temple to poor people or the temple keeps it to make their own meals.
For the next month, people will raise money to decorate and renovate temples. They usually put that money in a kind of tree, made by them. (Ton Ka Tin)
